Realistically, the educated ones who use cheap spelling have become lazy. The uneducated ......... hey. that explains it all.

i totally agree, they need good grammatical and English skills, it is the most annoying thing to read stuff that looks like a freaking puzzle. ESPECIALLY BECAUSE WE HAVE SPELL CHECK.

Haha. Sometimes I wonder if they do, in fact, know how to spell. I left the ';2'; for ';too'; or ';to,'; the ';u'; for ';you,'; the ';c'; for ';see,'; etc. way back in junior high. I understand it's just quicker to use that sometimes but in my opinion, it makes a person appear very juvenile when they type in that format.
Whole language strikes again.
Isn't ';getto'; spelled ';gHetto?'; Why don't people use the spell check? I mean I totally agree with you but bad spelling throws the attention off of the issue of the question and onto the spelling and, sometimes, the education of the person asking it. How can you criticize others poor spelling, when you didn't spell check and spelled something in your question wrong?
I chalk it up to being uneducated...it's not hard to spell correctly!





P.S. If they would notice, there is spell check available!
spelling ';what as ';wat'; is fine, it increases typing speed with less to type, isn't that the basis of shorthand anyway or was that way ahead of your time as well.
