Along the teenage line, does anyone know any good books for teenagers from 13 up?

For I teen I recommend Meg Cabot's young adult books. She is the best author. Also best selling. She wrote tons of books including the Princess Diaries (Movies based on her books), Mediator (upcoming movie), 1-800-Missing (TV show based on her books), Jinx, and more. She has adult books too, so you can grow with her.

Actually Mika, it's V.C. Andrews, not Virginia. But anyway, those books are good, I used to read them when I was a teenager.
My daughter (13) loves the Private collection by Kate Brian. They include Private, Invitation Only, Untouchable, Confessions and Inner Circle.

Yes I do. I'm only 12 but I love these books. The are called the Clique Books and they talk about all kinds of useful info. The girls in it are in seventh grade so right around your area.
Most 'tweens' I know are getting into the Artemis Fowl series. If she likes the point of view of a criminal mastermind, she'll love it.
