Teenagers do your parents still pick out your clothes?

Mine do, well sort of. I am 16 and when I want to buy clothes I have to show my parents, show them the price, and then they say if I can buy them or not. Teenagers are your parents like this too?? Thanks!!Teenagers do your parents still pick out your clothes?
nope. i buy what i want and my parents don't really mind as long as it's with my own money, like if they give me money and i'd go spend it on some beautiful shoes then they wouldn't be happy. x)

my mom help me with my shopping, sometimes. when i have my mind set on those totally impractical shoes, she gets all these ideas on why not to get them. It saves me and my parents a lot of money. Ill probably waste a lot of money on impractical stuff when we she stops. :) But its probably because i use my parents money on my clothes, so my mom has to approve of it .When she says no, i go,

no but i do ask my mum for her opinion and but it doesnt affect whether i can buy something or not.


The oonly time is when we are buying for a specific event and my mum thinks something is unsuitable for it
Well she shops with me and I decide what I want and usally she dosen't care.But if its like really short skirts or something(which I wouldn't buy anyway)she would make me put them back of course.But otherwise she lets me get what I want.Even though she pays.
They can be. XP My dad is pretty cool about what I wear, as long as it's not really relieving or anything like that.
