I am tired of going to school everydayWhen will Obama give teenagers more days off from school?
After he gives everybody a job.When will Obama give teenagers more days off from school?
More days off? A school year is what, 180 days? That is less than every other day at six hours a day. Compare that to working a regular job for about 250 days at eight hours. That is 1080 hours a year for school compared to 2000 hours for working a job. The American school system is in the dumps and even our colleges barely do enough.





You should be hoping that Obama makes school better so that it doesn't bore you. I went to a great high school and only wish we had more time in school instead of vegging out in front of the TV.
To stem some over crowding and resources





There should be some schools that start at 12 noon and go until 5





this would help some teens who due to body changes want to sleep all the time...an idea that has been studied





If made schools and teaching more interesting...many will be happy to learn





BUT teens also must understand that teen years soon turn to adult years and they pass quick..how unsure because at that age they already think they know it all...lol





Friends in Canada have areas where they go to school 4 days per week and same hours as ones who go 5. attendance is up and as lo saves on school budget....many ideas out there

my sister moved there with 3 kids and they are not required to attend for 5 weeks if they feel that they are not comfortable with it

my sister lives there and her daughter is shy and does not like school

Sure, why not. Oh wait, maybe not since if you are not in the public (socialist) school system, perhaps the indoctrination won't take.

The states and respective cities (or towns) in those states make that decision. The President does NOT have that much power. If you don't realize this, then you need to go to school more often than you do.
Doubtful. Last thing this country needs are a bunch of teenagers not having anything to do without parental supervision.

That's not up to Obama. That's up to your state or more likely your local government and it depends how much money they have to see if you would get a day off.
