What things do teenagers like to do (clean answers only please)?

Thinking of moving to a quiet village and someone said 'there's not much for teenagers to do' and that got me wondering. I'd rather my son, when he reaches that age, wasn't hanging round a shopping centre, but what might he be looking to doWhat things do teenagers like to do (clean answers only please)?
'I'd rather my son, wasn't hanging round a shopping centre'

hm well that was what i was going to put as my answer.

it depends on what he is into. if he is a (streiotypical) boy who loves football then he will probably want to be playing that.

if he loves music then he will probberly will be wanting to go out at night, and sleep in till 12 [=

an all rounder is that he will want 'freedom' and not have his mum always around him, especially when hes with his friends.

you say you don't want him hanging round a shopping center, does that include the nearest town?

this may be a thing that you will have no choose on. teenagers like to 'hang round shopping centre's' they aren't harming anyone, they just like to do it because it gives them somewhere to go and scocialise.

i don't want to sound mean by saying this but don't hold him back too much, if you do he could turn into a lonely nerd that will never go out with mates. but on the other side don't let him go completely, as he could then feel that no one wants him, which could result in heavy drinking and drugs.

allow him to experience things. dont stalk him if you let him out one night,

trust him, if he feels you don't trust him he will start to lie about where he is going/doing.

don't all ways ask him about where he has been and who he was been with. teenagers often don't want you to know if they have been with a girl on a 'date', its not that they don't want you to know as such its just that it is embarrassing.

if something gets really suspicious talk to him, but at the right time. if he goes out at night and becomes sick due to too much drinking then don't shout at him when you pick him up. this will make your relationship with him bad. TALK to him about it the next day.

like i said, its all about the individual person. he may be a quirt person that rarely goes out, this is fine. i doubt he will be bored, he just prefers to be on his own.

his school should teach him about drugs and alcohol abuse, as well as sex education. this means that you will not need to have a 'talk' about it, my mum tried to do it and i just walked off. its embarrassing.

don't be offended if he goes to tell someone else about something. such as his dad/someone else's.

he just doesn't feel that he can tell you. its nothing to do with how you are with him.

this has gone abit off track, but i hope it helps.

what im trying to get across is that if he doesn't hang out at the local town/shopping center. where else is he going to meet with freinds?

im 15,

i love to go to town at the weekend.

i nearly always stay up late on Saturday, which makes me not get up till very late on Sunday

i don't usually get up on a Saturday till past 12 unless im going into town or doing something else.

one other thing is don't persistently ask him what he wants to do, he wont know [=

hope you find this a good help,

if you want to talk about anything else, mail meWhat things do teenagers like to do (clean answers only please)?
the guys who hang around a shopping center are retards. In the country theres way more to do. Ride a bike, go climbing, or an all time favorite, knock down small dead trees. whack stuff with sticks, throw rocks at things etc. People call that stuff immature but cmon, leaning against a wall wearing pre-holed skintight jeans and name brand shirts with a skateboard you hardly ever use is propped up next to you...
i live in a remote village with no reliable bus route

and i have to rely on my mum to ferry me around which obviously restricts what i can do

when considering where to move to, make sure there is a good bus route so that he can get into town to see his mates or be close enough for him to walk or cycle

trust me he will thank you for it
I wonder if the `someone` was in the know, ask at the local school. If there is a leisure centre or community centre take a look at what's offered.

Not al kids hang round doing bad stuff, i live in a very rural area and the kids here hang about together in each others houses, so be ready for a full house especially when it's raining.
Off road motobikes?

BMX?

and there are always buses into the local town for night out
Well I live in a very small town also.

Usually my friends and I go to the movies or go bowling.

Sometimes there are dances held to raise money and we go to those and hang out.

That's pretty much the only thing to do.

Haha
Hang with friends around town, go to friedns houses, go to the mall or movies, things like that.
Computor

All Oher Related Game Systems

SHOPPING

Movies
if he becomes an emo like me he would want to listen to music all day or skateboard or something, but seriously, sorry but thats the cleanest answers u can get, teens like sex ok, we just do,i were a teenager once! let him decide what he want to do as long as e not fuckign everyone in site lolzl ol lolz
there is so much for young people to do in the country side in a rural village get him involved in walks understanding nature local farm even the church you say not much to do maybe you should explore some of the things on offer in your village and go see the local vicar he will tell you what gos on the school is another good place to ask what goes on good luck but beware if your son feels he is loosing his friends and and resents moving this to can be a problem in short get him involved in activity's at an early age and let him develop naturally good luck Dave (Mentor)
Most teenagers like to spend time on the computer or Xbox (or similar). For other activities see if there are any sports teams he can join so he doesn't end up hanging out at shopping centres.
i download music, watch tv, run on the treadmill, talk on the phone,
Well in our small town all we have to do in the winter is go bolwing and in the summer you mostly go to the pool and play with your friends
movies, go out to eat, last night we played hide and go seek and capture the flag lol not kidding talk on the phone
I did a lot of watching movies, reading, and writing when I was a teenager. Singularly, there's lots to do, but teenagers in groups might not have a lot to do.
From a typical teenage girl:

Shopping, Sleepovers, Sports, Anything Creative :)
