I really hate teenagers. Anyone else feel the same way I do?

I've lived in the US and now live in the UK and to be honest, I think teenagers are scrum. They are loud, nasty, foul mouthed (and I'm in my late 20s), and teens from both countries are a threat to a peaceful world future. I plan on adopting but will NEVER EVER let my kids go to school with scum that is infesting our schools. They will be home schooled. I really hate teenagers. Anyone else feel the same way I do?
I'm 14 and hate teenagers. That's why I have no friends. Everybody I know is really into spreading rumors and causing drama and I cannot stand it.





I've been to public school and private school. Private school absolutely sucked but public has been okay so far. I know lots of homeschoolers, and honestly, they're the only people I can tolerate. The ones I know are a little shy, but once we got to know eachother, they were really fun to hang out with and they never tried to make me feel bad to raise their self esteem.

I agree with you (and i am a teenager myself) about your description of them, but i definately do not hate them..





I think teenagers are this way because around/after the teenage years is when we need to break apart from our parents, and become independent. We brake apart by rebelling (being loud, nasty, foul mouthed, etc). I mean obviously we don't think of it this way, but that's how it is.





I am actually one of the most mature teenagers i know of. honestly. I am not loud and obnoxious, i don't cuss.. ever, and i'm not nasty. I am not promiscuous, and do not plan to be. I do good in school and hope to have a promising future. But yes, the typical teenager you described makes up probably 95% of us teens. sad, but true.


I don't have a ';wanna-be-mature'; attitude. I just do what i need to do, and act how i want. That just so happens to be, well not immature.
Sorry. I'm 15 and I have to say that your generalising. I do my homework, don't swear, don't litter, don't hang out in large groups and don't do any of the behaviours that you mention. I ever volunteer on Saturdays! The one thing I refuse to do, is respect someone simply because they're older than me. Respect is mutual, and if I am treated respectfully, then I will respect that person. If, however, they are horrible to me, I won't get offensive but I will try to move out of the situation.
Right Dont be so prejudice im 15 and im nto foul mouthed and i respect my elders! I get my head down in school and im planning big things for my future and i still know alot of people and hang around with alot of people most are the same



I dont like to say this but if you dont like us english head back the other way!! Cus the youth is the future remember that!
No, I'm home-schooled and not socially Retarded! Also I am not loud and I don't get along with obnoxious kids my age, cause they are ANNOYING! How can they act and ado the things they do? They don't think before they act and then they COMPLAIN ABOUT THE CONSEQUENCES! YEP, most are STUPID nowadays. Parents have alot do with it to, cause they don't watch or take care of their kids!


P.S. when they think they're smarter than you they say DUH, like THEY're smarter than me! They also always get in TROUBLE!





Experinece : My cousin 1.5 years younger was shoe blading in a restaurant (Rainforest Cafe), holding onto chairs and almost knocked down and bumped into a pregnate woman! I was upset when I heard this, I mean SHE HAS A BRAIN ....... so then USE IT!

-im 17 and my mom sheltered me my whole life and look at me now i got 5tattoos, 4piercings and i moved away cuhs i couldnt take her sh!t.

Definitely. I don't think all teenagers are the same but I generally can't stand their immature, wanna-be-mature mindsets. Teenagers think they've got all the answers and that ';grown-ups just don't understand!'; when indeed we do understand, we were once teenagers ourselves, we just find their frame of thought to be utterly ridiculous.
All teenagers were this way before. They grow out of it.





Oh and such a great idea, let's isolate your teenagers and not ever ever let them associate with kids their age! In fact, you hate teenagers yourself, why do you want kids huh?
It depends on the teenager. The reason most teens act this way is because of hormonal imbalances. Usually, by the time kids reach the age of 18 they mature.
No, some of us were teenagers once and I'm sure people loved to hate us. They're learning the facts of life and some go through many stages.
